Statement of All Myanmar Theravada Buddhist Organization and Border and Hilly Region Sasana Nuggaha Association (Central)

IN light of the extensive suffering, loss, and damage resulting from armed conflict and terrorism, the State Administration Council released a statement on 26 September 2024. The statement urged all organizations opposing the State to abandon armed struggle line and terrorism and engage in political dialogue to address political issues, allowing them to collaborate with the people for restoring durable peace and development.

All Myanmar Theravada Buddhist Organization and the Border and Hilly Region Sasana Nuggaha Association (Central) have welcomed and supported the State Administration Council’s invitation to all armed organizations fighting the State to resolve political issues through political means.
