Myanmar hosts online ASEANSAI Workshop on SDG Audit

 

MYANMAR hosted the ASEANSAI Knowledge Sharing Workshop on Audit of SDG Implementation virtually at the Union Auditor-General Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Speaking at the workshop, Union Auditor-General Dr Khin Naing Oo said the office will share the knowledge on the audit of sustainable development goals implementation received while working with international auditor-general offices. Moreover, the auditor-general offices of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand will share their audits of SDG implementation, which will bring benefits.

She then urged participants to work together through solid communication by sharing experiences, imagination and information.

Afterwards, Malaysian Auditor-General ASEANSAI Knowledge Sharing Committee Chairperson Mrs Datuk Wan Surya Wan Mohd Radzi gave a speech via video message.

Director Daw Mya Zin and Deputy Director Daw Mya Thet Mon of the Union Auditor-General Office and other attendees also discussed the audit of sustainable development goals implementation, forest management and impacts on the environment.

The second-day workshop will continue on 26 September.
