Chinese Embassy and Chinese businesspersons in Myanmar donate to flood victims

 


THE Chinese Embassy to Myanmar sent food products worth K 44 million and the Myanmar Chinese Entrepreneurs Association and Chinese companies in Myanmar also donated US$ 10,000, K 400 million and many other relief items, according to the statement from the Chinese Embassy on 27 September.

It is to donate to flood victims due to recent Typhoon Yagi, which hit various parts of Myanmar that have been severely affected, resulting in many casualties and damages, it added.

The items worth K 44 million delivered by the embassy include food stuff such as dried noodles, canned foods and biscuits as an emergency donation.

In addition, the Myanmar Chinese Entrepreneurs Association and Chinese companies in Myanmar also provided US$ 10,000, K 400 million and many other relief items, according to the embassy's statement.

The embassy also expressed its hope for the people of the flood-affected areas to quickly recover from this disaster and rebuild their houses.
