Yangon starts school enrolment week for 2024-2025 academic year

 

In Yangon Region, basic education schools under the Department of Basic Education for the 2024-2025 academic year will be open on 3 June, and enrolment week has been set from 23 May to 2 June.

School heads, school administration officials, and teachers in basic education schools in Yangon Region visited the school yesterday to assist parents and students in smoothly enrolling in school. Students are provided with free stationery and school uniforms specified by the Ministry of Education.

For the 2024-2025 academic year, parents and students came to enrol in basic education schools, private schools and monastic education schools in the Yangon region yesterday in accordance with the school enrolment week theme: “Let’s enrol all school-aged children to learn basic education’’.
