MoNREC Union Minister receives Russian Ambassador to Myanmar

 

UNION Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi received Mr Iskander Azizov, Russian Ambassador to Myanmar, at the meeting hall of the Union Minister’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

During the meeting, both sides frankly and closely discussed matters related to the mitigation of climate change between the two countries and the situation of cooperation in the development of forests, mining and environmental conservation sectors.

Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister U Min Thu and departmental heads and officials from the Russian Embassy.
