THE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported that discussions on investment opportunities and potential cooperation in automotive technology between Myanmar and India took place at the 13th Mach Auto Expo 2024 in Ludhiana City, Punjab Province, India.
The Myanmar ambassador to India
participated in the event and presented information on the trade and investment
status between Myanmar and India, focusing on small and medium enterprises, as
well as the machinery and equipment market.
The expo took place from 23 to 26
February. Ambassador U Moe Kyaw Aung attended the opening ceremony on 23
February as a special guest, alongside the Chief Executive Officer of Invest
Punjab. Ambassadors and diplomats from Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Burundi,
Mongolia, and Ethiopia, along with Indian officials and entrepreneurs, were
also in attendance.
The Mach Auto Expo 2024 featured 650
booths from 12 countries, showcasing over ten thousand products and services.
