THE malicious media Khit Thit intentionally spread false information, saying the security forces arrested 107 young Muslim men aged between 18 and 35 from Kyauktalone camp in Kyaukpyu Township of Rakhine State on 27 February.
A relevant security official reported
that the arrest of 107 Muslim men aged 18-35 from Kyauktalone camp was not
valid.
AA insurgents threatened the people
not to cooperate with Tatmadaw and to work with them, accused villagers of
being informers and torched the villages. Tatmadaw conducts recuse work with
Muslim organizations, and so the malicious media outlets intentionally spread
misinformation, claiming that Tatmadaw gathers Muslims as new conscription.
