UNION Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn received the delegation led by Mr Khaldon Azhari, former president of the Foreign Correspondent Club of Japan-FCCJ, yesterday morning in Nay Pyi Taw.
Both sides discussed cooperation in the media sector, the reformation and upgrading of The Global New Light of Myanmar English newspaper.
The meeting was attended by Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung and heads of departments.
In the afternoon, the FCCJ ex-president and party visited the Gems Museum and paid homage to the Maravijaya Buddha Image in the Buddha Park in Dekkhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw.
