Cash donation ceremony for Mocha-affected areas held

 

 

A ceremony of cash donations by well-wishers for Mocha-affected areas was held at the Myanmar International Convention Centre-II in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

In the event, merchants and organizations from Myanmar and China who are participating in Myanmar (Nay Pyi Taw)-China (Lancang) Trade Fair (25-28 May) in Nay Pyi Taw donated K30 million to Mocha-hit areas and Permanent Secretary U Min Min of the Ministry of Commerce accepted the donations. 

Afterwards, the permanent secretary returned the certificate of appreciation to the merchants from the two countries and viewed round the booths at the Trade Fair. The Myanmar (Nay Pyi Taw)-China (Lancang) Trade Fair is thronged with visitors.
