MoI Union Minister joins pre-Myanmar Traditional Festival and funfair at Myanmar Arts and Handicraft Centre (Yangon)

 



UNION Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn joined the pre-Myanmar Traditional Festival and funfair of the Union of Myanmar Bamar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association held at Myanmar Arts and Handicraft Centre (Yangon) in North Okkalapa Township in Yangon yesterday.

Also present at the event were Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Deputy Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Zaw Aye Maung, region Ethnic Affairs Minister U Saw Jet Kaw Htoo and other departmental officials, Indian Counsellor Mr R C Yadav, CEO of Centre for Investment and Trade Dr Sital Kumar, Economic and Commercial Counsellor Mr Tan Shufu of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar and other officials of business organizations.

First, the Union Minister extended best wishes to the diplomats, partner organizations, ethnic entrepreneurs and attendees for the new year. He also invited them to Nay Pyi Taw walking Thingyan. He added that the Myanmar film academy award ceremony in the first week of May in Nay Pyi Taw. The country grabs an achievement as the country exported rice by cooperating with 47 rice-related business persons.

Then, Deputy Minister U Zaw Aye Maung, the vice-president of the UMFCCI and the chairman of the Myanmar Bamar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association made remarks and aims of the festivals.

Afterwards, the Union minister and relevant officials cut the ribbon "Pre-Myanmar Traditional Thingyan Festival and Funfair 2023".

The Union minister and party also enjoyed the entertainment of kindergarten and dance troupes.

They also observed over 30 stalls of the Myanmar Bamar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association.

The Union minister enjoyed the live performance of the "Padauk Ne Atu" Friday Night Live Show at MRTV on 7 March.

The programme was broadcasted via MRTV HD Channel to entertain the people and replayed at 10:30 am on 9 April.
