Statements issued regarding brutal attacks of KKO (Split) group, so-called PDF terrorists on Myawady Trade Zone with heavy weapons and small arms

 IT was known that as KKO (Split) and so-called PDF terrorists under NUG and CRPH opened fire on the Myawady trade zone with heavy weapons and small arms in Kayin State on 25 March, with the aim of disrupting the stability and peace in the Myawady Township of Kayin State, delaying the flow of commodities and causing panic among the people.

In the incident, the building of the trade zone and an X-ray machine were damaged, and some security personnel were injured and an innocent citizen, and an employee were killed.

Regarding the incident, the Young Men's Buddhist Association-YMBA (Central), the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Group (Central), the Myanmar Press Council, the Myanmar Writers’ Association, the Myanmar Music Association (Central) and the Myanmar Comedians’ Association issued statements, saying that such acts of violence were unacceptable and strongly condemn them.
