Efforts to improve production rate, quality with modern agricultural and breeding systems

 



DEPUTY Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Aung Gyi met the residents of Htantawgyi village- tract of Tatkon Township of Nay Pyi Taw aiming to develop modern farming practices and proportionate irrigation water to farmlands yesterday.

 During the meeting, the deputy minister discussed the implementation of agriculture-based village area, production and quality processes with systematic usage of seedling, agrochemicals and irrigation water and cooperation to transfer into industrial agriculture and also inspected the 150 acres of industrial farmlands.

 The deputy minister also inspected the return of farmlands to farmers of Shar Taw village-tract and Gwaypin village and distribution of irrigation water from Shardaw Sinthay Chaung dam through mobile solar-water pumping system marking the 61st anniversary of Peasants' Day.

The deputy minister also check the lab for foot-andmouth disease (Nay Pyi Taw), location of the new Department of Livestock and Aquaculture Research, research on gene of land animal and conservation of natural resources and new location for construction of research camp (Shwemyo).
