MoI Union Minister inspects MRTV (Nay Pyi Taw), enjoys lunch with staff

 


UNION Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn inspected the MRTV in Tatkon Township of Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

On arrival at the MRTV, the Union minister cordially greeted the staff and had lunch together with them at the dining hall.

Then, MRTV Director-General U Ye Naing explained the appointment of 14 newscasters for MRTV-HD, MRTV-News, MRTV Farmers and MRTV Sports and played the news reading video clips of these newcomers.

The Union minister said the newscasters should be proud of their work as they are serving duties for the channels of stateowned MRTV. Among the broadcasting services, it has to serve duty in person and should have confidence and learn continuously not to make any mistakes. The officials also should check the pronunciation, outfits and appearances of newscasters. The Union minister then provided cash to the staff.

He went to the News Studio construction site for MRTVNews Channel developed using the budget of this FY and gave officials to complete the necessary instructions in time after the officials of tender-winning companies Elevate Broadcast Myanmar Co Ltd and Arrthit Man Technology Co Ltd presented the operations.

State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the launching ceremony of MRTV News Channel marking the first anniversary of SAC on 1 February 2022. The innovative news presentation with High Definition (HD) is now done in a reserved news studio. If the new studio completes, the operations will be carried out there.

Then, the Union minister and party arrived at the Auditorium and enjoyed the dress rehearsal of the modern band of MRTV staff who will perform at the ministries in Nay Pyi Taw and awarded the band.

He then watched the player selection of the "MoI Football Team" to compete in Inter-Ministry Men's Football Tournament for Prime Minister's Cup and provided energy drinks and eggs to the players.
