Union Minister U Kyaw Tin receives Republic of Serbia First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs


Union Minister for International Cooperation U Kyaw Tin received the Republic of Serbia First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Ivica Dacic at the Union Minister’s guest hall in Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday afternoon.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on exchanging high level visits, conducting regular coordination between the two foreign ministries, increasing bilateral cooperation in sports, education, news media and culture and regional and international matters were discussed.
After the meeting the Mutual Visa Exemption Agreement for Diplomatic and Official Passport Holders between Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Republic of Serbia was signed by Union Minister U Kyaw Tin and the Republic of Serbia First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. IvicaDacic.
The agreement will enable the holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports of the two countries to get the duration of stay not exceeding 90 days and will facilitate travel procedure for the holders.
Later in the afternoon Union Minister for International Cooperation hosted a luncheon to the delegation led by Republic of Serbia First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs at Park Royal Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw.
