Union Attorney General U Tun Tun Oo receives PWC Consortium group

UNION Attorney General U Tun Tun Oo received PWC Consortium group led by Mr. Subhrendu Chatterji yesterday morning at Union Attorney General Office meeting hall. PWC Consortium is implementing UK government’s technical support program.

At the meeting, Union Attorney General discussed about Attorney General Office’s works related to legislative, administrative and judicial sectors, efforts towards rule of law, improving legal frameworks in investment and finance sectors and cooperation with international organizations on money laundering while PWC Consortium group leader discussed and explained about improving economic contact with Myanmar, technical support provided toward financial market development, intellectual property and financial market work projects to be conducted in six southeast Asian countries including Myanmar. Afterwards cordial and open discussions were held on conducting courses on financial market and intellectual property.

Also present at the meeting were Deputy Attorney General U Win Myint and directors general.
