State Counsellor receives Yunnan Provincial Party Committee Secretary

DAW Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar received Mr. Chen Hao, Secretary of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China on 3rd December 2018 at 4 pm at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting they cordially discussed and ex changed views on the matters relating to promotion of trade and investment in border areas, enhancing people-to-people contacts, close cooperation between concerned authorities for peace and stability in border areas, and continued cooperation for better transportation, for poverty alleviation and rural development in Myanmar as Yunnan Province plays a vital role in bilateral relations between Myanmar and China.
