Myanmar wins sepak takraw gold and judo silver

Myanmar achieved another gold and silver in sepak takraw and Judo sport at the 29th SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

Myanmar men’s double sepek takraw team won a gold medal by beating Cambodia squad at final match of yesterday in Kuala Lumpur SEA Games.

Myanmar defeated Philippines 2-1, Laos 2-0, host Malaysia 2-0 and Cambodia 2-0 throughout the matches.

Myanmar women’s sepak takraw team just pleased with a bronze medal as Myanmar was defeated by Vietnam by the points of 19-21 and 19-21 at the semifinal yesterday.

As the final match day of 78 kilo Judo fighting sport at the 29th SEA Games, Myanmar’s shinning Judo fighter Aye Aye Aung also just pleased with a silver medal as she was defeated by Vietnamese fighter at yesterday’s competition.

It was the final competition of Myanmar Judo fighter Aye Aye Aung in the SEA Games as she will retire soon.
