MYANMAR athletes
won three gold medals, one silver medal and two bronze medals respecitvely in
the 51th Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships held in South Korea from
20 to 26 August.
Both male and
female Myanmar athletes participated in the event according to their weight
categories.
Ye Tun Naung
collected a gold medal at the 70kg body building competition, Tun Minn won a
gold medal at the 65kg body building competition and Tun Tun Aung gained gold
medal at the Master body building competition and a bronze medal at the 60 kg
body building as well. Additionally, Nhin Nhin Aye achieved bronze medal at the
Atheteid Physique and Nang Laung Kham also secured a bronze medal at the Model
Physique competition.
Asian
Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships is being held every year in Asian
countries and previous event was held last year in Thimpu in the host country of
Bhutan.
