REAL estate organizations in Myanmar and Viet Nam signed a memorandum of
understanding on 18 July in Hanoi with the hope of improving property
development sectors in both nations.
The MoU between the Myanmar Real Estate Service Development Association
and the Viet Nam Real Estate Service Association is expected to facilitate
economic progress and investment.
“Viet Nam, a rapidly developing country, is eager to make investments in
Myanmar, and now they have paved the way by signing the MoU,” said U Aung Tun,
vice chairman of the Myanmar Real Estate Service Development Association.
“Additionally, the MoU will help us understand the procedures, laws and
techniques used in Viet Nam. They (the Vietnamese) also want to know procedures
for investment in Myanmar.”
The signing ceremony was attended by U Tin Maung and U Aung Tun, chairman
and vice chairman of the Myanmar Real Estate Development Association and 15
