Signing on Memorandum of Understanding between Myanmar and the Netherlands for education

The signing of a Memorandum of Understading between The Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education and the Netherlands-based Stichting Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL) was held yesterday in the meeting room of the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw.

The signing ceremony was attended by U Win Maw Htun, Deputy Minister for Education, the Director-General of the Department of Higher Education, rectors from various universities, librarians and responsible personnel from the Netherlands-based EIFL.

Dr. Thein Win, Director-General of the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education and Ms. Rima Kupryte, Director of EIFL, signed the MoU agreement for the cooperation of the libraries of the universities in the two countries and the development of education.
