Exam results of
the basic education schools were released across the country on Sunday. The
announcement includes all levels of grades apart from the matriculation exam.
According to a
new reform since 2015-2016 academic years, the grading system has changed into
ranking A, B, C and D, instead of making the ranks like first, second, third
and more, depending on the marks student scored.
Examination for
Grade-4 and 8 are the government exam system, and it is another prominent
reform, aiming to encourage students to learn their lessons at all.
At the Yangon
University of Education Practicing High School, cent percent of students for
Grade-4 and 8 have passed.
New classes will
be opened soon on 1st of June as usual, according to the regular schedule by
the basic education department.
