Beijing Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar holds founding ceremony in Yangon

 

The founding ceremony of the Beijing Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar was held at Oriental House Restaurant in Dagon Township, Yangon Region, on 17 October.

At the ceremony, opening remarks were delivered by the Economic Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar and the Chairman of the Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central). The signboard of the Beijing Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar was unveiled by its president and business leaders from China and Myanmar.

Subsequently, appointment letters were presented to the president, executive members and general members of the Beijing Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (Central). Commemorative gifts marking the establishment of the chamber were also presented, while Chinese cultural dance troupes performed traditional Chinese songs and dances.

The ceremony was attended by the Economic Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy to Myanmar, the Chairman of the Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central), the President of the Chinese Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (CECCM), business representatives from China and Myanmar, and officials from various organizations.The Beijing Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar was established to expand opportunities for China-Myanmar economic cooperation, promote shared development and enable business leaders from both countries to work together towards a prosperous future.
