127,000 Insured Workers Get Healthcare in Mandalay Region

 

A total of 127,276 insured workers in Mandalay Re­gion are receiving health­care services through 18 hospitals and clinics, in­cluding the Workers’ Hos­pital (Mandalay).

The Workers’ Hospital (Mandalay), six township social welfare clinics, five departmental clinics and six contract clinics are pro­viding healthcare services directly to factories and workshops through Mobile Medical Units (MMUs). These units provide med­ical treatment, laboratory tests and ECG examina­tions to insured workers.

In addition, K105.337 million was provided for insured workers’ medical expenses during the five months from April to Au­gust 2026. A new diagnostic ultrasound machine has also been installed at the Workers’ Hospital (Man­dalay) to further enhance healthcare services.
