COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo planted a teak sapling at the fourth monsoon tree-growing ceremony for 2026 of the families of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) near Yezin Dam in Zeyathiri Township yesterday morning.
At the ceremony,
families of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) planted
2,400 saplings of teak, ironwood, mahogany and gum-kino species.
The tree-growing
ceremony was participated in by Daw Nilar, the wife of the Commander-in-Chief
of Defence Services, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services
Commander-in-Chief (Army) General Kyaw Swa Lin and his wife, Union ministers
and their wives, the Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) and his
wife, Tatmadaw members and their families.
At the same time,
Tatmadaw families grew 148,226 saplings at relevant military commands.
