Illegal goods seized at the Nyaungkhashay Permanent Checkpoint in Waw Township, Bago Region, will be auctioned on 17 July, according to the auction committee.
A total of 11 lots of
confiscated goods will be sold through open bidding at 9:30 am at the
checkpoint on the Yangon-Mawlamyine Road. The items, including used phones,
copiers, machine parts, tyres, batteries, food products and consumer goods,
will be sold in their current condition.
Interested buyers can
purchase auction forms for K10,000 per set from 13 to 16 July during office
hours. Only those who buy the forms and pay the required security deposit will
be allowed to inspect the goods before the auction.
