International election observers from Belarus arrive in Yangon

OFFICIALS from the Union Election Commission welcomed a delegation led by Ms Volha N Chamadanova, an international election observer from the Republic of Belarus, at Yangon International Airport on the evening of 21 January.

The delegation will be monitoring the multiparty democratic general election phase III to be held on 25 January 2026.
