Graduation dinner held to honour DSTA 27th Intake

The graduation dinner to honour the 27th Intake of the Defence Services Technological Academy was held yesterday evening at the cadet mess hall of the DSTA in PyinOoLwin. The dinner was attended by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission and Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, and his wife, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla.

Also, present at the dinner were Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win and his wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and his wife, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, Union-level dignitaries and Union Ministers and their wives, the Chief Minister of Mandalay Region, commanders, the Commandant of the DSTA, officials of the PyinOoLwin Station, parents and relatives of the graduating officers, and other guests.

The Senior General cordially greeted the graduating officers and had dinner together with them and the other dignitaries. He presented cash awards to the military band of the academy for playing music after the dinner.

The Senior General and his entourage, together with the graduating officers, enjoyed songs and one-act plays performed by the Myawady Entertainment Troupe under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare at the graduation hall.
