MSWRR Union Minister receives UNOCHA Office Interim Head

 

UNION Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win received a delegation led by Ms Vanessa May, Interim Head of the Office of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), at the ministry’s reception hall yesterday.

They exchanged views openly and cordially on the ongoing collaborative efforts between the Ministry and UNOCHA, the government’s earthquake recovery operations, the status of prefabricated offices and houses donated by the People’s Republic of China, the completion of prefabricated school structures donated by the AHA Centre, UNOCHA’s staffing matters, and areas of continued cooperation.
