The Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar has agreed to the proposed appointment of Captain (Navy Retired) Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar with residence in Yangon.
Captain
(Navy Retired) Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin was born on 26 December
1972 in Brunei Darussalam. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from
the University of Hertfordshire in 1996 and a Master’s Degree in Science in
Military Studies from the Bangladesh University of Professionals in 2010.
Captain
(Navy Retired) Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin has held several
command and staff appointments throughout his career in Royal Brunei Navy from
Officer Cadet in 1997 to Acting Commander in 2024. He also served as Defence
Attaché
at the office of the Defence Attaché of Brunei Darussalam in Beijing,
People’s Republic of China (PRC) from 2014 until 2017.
