People’s Military Service Training 10 begins across various commands

 

The opening ceremonies for the People’s Military Service Training 10 were held at various military commands yesterday. Citizens who met the necessary qualifications attended training depots in their respective regions to participate in this course. The commandants of training depots gave opening speeches.

The Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, region and state chief ministers, commanders, and relevant officials attended the events, greeted trainees and presented cash prizes and materials to them.

The People’s Military Service Law was enacted as every citizen is under a duty to safeguard Our Three Main National Causes: Non-disintegration of the Union, Non-disintegration of national solidarity and Perpetuation of sovereignty. The People’s Military Service Law was enacted on 10 February 2024 aiming to conduct military training courses. The first intake commenced on 8 April 2024, and the tenth intake is now underway. Those who have completed the People’s Military Training are currently serving in various military units, fulfilling their responsibilities for national defence and security.
