Bomb drop at Shwebo novitiation: 1 child killed, 14 injured by PDFs

 

ARMED insurgents and PDF terrorists who want violence launched bomb drop attacks using two drones onto Payan village monastery, a non-military target, in Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, while the Shinpyu ceremony (novitiation) was held in the monastery. Dropped bombs fell onto the religious hall and exploded, killing a nine-year-old child and wounding 14 civilians.

The dead body and injured were taken to the Shwebo General Hospital for medical treatment. Civilians strongly condemned such attacks resulting in casualties among innocent civilians, including children. Security forces conducted security measures for stability.
