MMU and NMUC explore collaboration between maritime universities

 

Fostering potential collaboration between Myanmar Maritime University (MMU) and the Netherlands Maritime University College (NMUC) in Malaysia was highlighted during the meeting of the Myanmar Ambassador to Malaysia with NMUC held on 26 September, according to Myanmar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Vice-President Mr Syed Waqar Hasan Zaidi of the NMUC in Johor, Malaysia, and U Aung Soe Win, Myanmar Ambassador to Malaysia, met at the Myanmar Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They exchanged ideas to foster collaboration between maritime universities.

That was the outcome of the Myanmar Ambassador meeting with the NMUC during the “Launching Ceremony of the International Conference on Maritime Logistics and Ports” held on 5 September at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre.

At the ceremony, they also discussed matters to explore possible future collaboration between the maritime institutions of the two countries.
