THE Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo announced on 27 June that more than 200 Japanese companies have sent job offers to recruit about 700 Myanmar workers.
The
embassy is verifying information on 212 job offer letters sent by companies in
Japan.
According
to the statement, the labour inspection company in Japan and the factories and
companies recruiting for jobs have checked the documents regarding whether or
not they are legally established in Japan, and they have offered jobs to
recruit over 280 men and 400 women, totalling about 700 Myanmar workers.
The
embassy announced on 14 June that more than 360 Japanese companies had
recruited more than 1,500 Myanmar workers.
