ANTI-COVID-19 vaccines were given to the people from two Hngetchaung IDP camps in Ponnagyi Village-tract and Saingtok Village-tract in Pauktaw Township of Rakhine State on 31 August and 1 September.
Health
staff injected Sinovac vaccines into the people of above 45 years from
Hngetchaung IDP camps and three more IDP camps in Saingtok Village-tract.
A
total of 161 men and 137 women were vaccinated at Hngetchaung IDP camp-1 and
185 men and 185 women at Hngetchaung IDP camp-2. Moreover, health staff
vaccinated 22 men and 29 women at Saingtok IDP camp, two men and two women at
Kanseik Village IDP camp and two men and three women at Nagway Village IDP
camp, totaling 60.
So
far, a total of 1,480 people from five IDP camps in Pauktaw Township have
received vaccines.
The
vaccination activities were attended by Township Administration Body Chairman U
Kyaw Win and the township medical officer.
