THE second Dawei National Day was celebrated at the Taninthayi Region Cultural Museum in Dawei yesterday.
Presiding Sayadaw of May Ga Waddy Monastery Baddanta Eindawwasa, Union
Minister for Ethnic Affairs Nai Thet Lwin, Minister for Social and
Development Affairs U Ho Pin, Dawei National Day organizing committee U
Tin Mya and U Soe Nwe opened the event by cutting ceremonial ribbons.
State Ovada Cariya Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Baddanta Suriya first
delivered an Ovadakatha, and followed by the speech of Union Minister
Nai Thet Lwin.
