A preliminary coordination meeting to successfully conduct Youth All-Round Development Festival (Magway) was held at the meeting hall of Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
At the meeting Youth All-Round Development Festival (Magway) Organizing Work Committee Chairman Deputy Minister U Aung Hla Tun said the youth all-round development festivals were held with the noble aims for youth to promote the values of knowledge, skill and ethics, develop their five strengths and to construct a future human society with good ideas of youth.
Youth All-Round Development Festivals were held in Yangon University from 1 to 3 December 2017 and Mandalay University from 11 to 13 August 2018. This year it was planned to be held in Magway University. In Yangon University, the State Counsellor conducted a round table literary talk with 22 students from universities in Yangon. Similarly the State Counsellor led a round table literary talk with 20 students from universities in Mandalay during the opening ceremony of Youth All-Round Development Festival. It was due to the ideas, arrangements and financial support as well as overall cooperation of the Ministry of Information, related ministerial departments and local government.
With prepatory works for the soon-to-be Youth All-Round Development Festival in Magway University, arrangements were made to conduct a round table literary talk and all are urged to cooperate and come up with good ideas and recommendations, said the Deputy Minister.
Next work committee secretary Information and Public Relations Department Director General U Ye Naing explained about arrangements made to successfully hold Youth All-Round Development Festival (Magway).
Afterwards, meeting attendees explained about sector wise work processes and work committee chairman Deputy Minister U Aung Hla Tun coordinated on the explanations made. The meeting came to a close after the Deputy Minister delivered a concluding speech.
Youth All-Round Development Festival (Magway) will be held in December at Magway University it is learnt.
