THE inauguration Ceremony of the Certificate Course in Basic Diplomatic
Skills (43/2019) conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
was held
at Wunzinminyarzar Hall of the Ministry in Yangon at 10:00 am
yesterday, with an opening remarks delivered by U Soe Han, Permanent
Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Present on the occasion were retired Myanmar Ambassadors,
Directors-General and responsible officials of the departments under the
Ministry, senior diplomats, professors and instructors as well as
trainees.
The 12-week long part-time certificate course comprises the subjects related to diplomacy, negotiation skills, international law, international conferencing, international relations and economics.
Basis Diplomatic Skills Course has been conducted since the year 2000, mainly for those who have to engage in international relations from private and public sectors and those who want to learn more on those subjects. And it usually runs twice a year.
