UNION MINISTER for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Win Myat Aye yesterday received Dr Hollie Hix-Small, the Program Coordinator of Early Intervention Program and Associate Professor, and the Early Childhood Intervention team of the Portland State University in Oregon State of the United States.
The meeting at Makhalar Hall of the ministry discussed about early children development, policy on protection and implementation, early childhood intervention (ECI) for preventing disability of children, generating ECI experts.
The ECI team also donated K 1 million for repairing a floodtorn building of ECI project in Paung Township in Mon State.
