THE National Drug Control Strategic Plan (Draft) was given a final review during a meeting at Shwe San Eain Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Police Brig-Gen Win Naing, who is Joint Secretary of the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control, central committee members, departmental heads, representatives from UNODC and affiliated organizations, experts, and CSOs attended the meeting, bringing the total number of attendees to 45.
Police Brig-Gen Win Naing first delivered the opening speech, followed by Police Lt-Col Win Myint explaining the compilation of the draft strategic plan and the objectives of the meeting.
Attendees then provided suggestions on sections of the draft, conducted group discussions and made final amendments. Afterwards, Police Brig-Gen Win Naing delivered the closing speech and concluded the meeting.
