VP U Myint Swe receives Governor of Yunnan Province

Vice President U Myint Swe received Governor of Yunnan Province, the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Ruan Chengfa, and his entourage at the Presidential Palace at 10 a.m. yesterday.

During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of collaboration between the two countries with respect to the economy, border trade and cooperation in areas of mutual benefit.

They also talked about collaboration in matters of finance, transportation, infrastructure, electricity, minerals, technology, agriculture, livestock and fisheries sector for smooth trade and investment between the two countries.

Union Minister for Commerce Dr. Than Myint, Union Minister for Planning and Finance, U Soe Win and officials attended the event.
