A COMMON goal of every nation is development; sustainable
development is a requirement for the present-day. Developing countries keep
enjoy higher standards of living with determination to free social ills,
oppression, diseases, poverty and scarcity of knowledge from advanced
countries. In addition, these advanced countries are eager enough to explore
mysteries in space.
In the present-day, great openings for education and health are
more and more recognized as outstanding characteristics. According to United
Nations Development Decade Reports, the development of human resources is found
to have played an important role than that of natural resources. The investment
in education and health sectors is needed when human qualities are required to
become shinier and shinier.
Investments are needed for Educational Development
Illiteracy campaign is closely related to human intelligence and
wide ideas. In the same way, human investments are believed to have solved
inputs on obstacles and difficulties. Investment in education takes a long time
to bear fruits than that in things immaterial. The longer the age, the better
for human beings; they could serve humanity with their enormous amount of
knowledge. Outdated mode of materials falls into ruin faster then that in men.
In the present-day, the following two indicators are used for
the extents of education sector and its solutions. The indicators are
percentage from national incomes of a country and 5-14 age groups from out of a
total population. The two indicators show that people with higher per capita
income are crowded in advanced countries whereas the workforce in agriculture
sector has decreased. There is fourth goal out of 17 centennial goals in the
developed and least developed countries: equitable quality of education must be
pursued with the aim of being all-inclusive and a chance of study throughout
one’s life.’
Importance of human resources
Level of quality education should be examined regionally. In
addition, educational opportunities for men and women to keep on pursuing,
education in villages and towns and income gaps in the pursuance of education
must be investigated specifically and will highlight the present-day
educational developments. Three developmental forces in a country are workers,
natural forces and financial matters. Even though there are natural forces and
financial ones abundantly in a country, unsystematic exploitation of natural
resources and lack of skilled workers could lead to development goals.
In a developing countries like Myanmar. The development of human
resources is a main thing to meet the requirements of our country. It is a
well-known fact that human resources are equally important as things
immaterial. The rich experience of an educator is invaluable.
So far as the educationists have shared their knowledge, many
more educated persons can be produced. In some ways, passing on of rich
experiences to younger generations is an invaluable requirement for both
developing and developed countries. This should be regarded as an increase to
the educational development.
According to the studies in developed countries, investment in
human resources is going faster than that of immaterial things for the
socio-economic systems of those countries. There is a surplus of human
resources in developing countries. The surplus of human workforces should be
used effectively and fully in order to boost productive forces and higher standards
of living.
Taking invaluable sequences
Human resources do not depend on a population but on a number of
skilled workers. The advantages of human resources cannot be measured as those
of immaterial things. Investments in human forces will boost people to increase
their incomes and productive power; their expenses are regarded as the sort of
investments. Educational spending in Myanmar should be considered in accordance
with the requirements, thereby leading to national development of our country.
When the quality of education is investigated, educational
investments should be accompanied by the development of skilled workers.
Allocations of libraries in schools or wards lead to mental
quality in addition to lessons taught in schools, thereby carrying out
invaluable consequences for students. As reliable developments of our country,
the progress may be accompanied by teachings in schools. An incisive mind and
encouragement must be carried out to meet the requirements of students. Higher
education is required to be cultivated by incisive minds and goodwill.
Foreign investments are made in different regions and foreigners
are doing their business; corporate social responsibility (CSR) should be
regarded as a sort of investment in human resources. The programmes of CSR
along with investments made in mills, factories and economic zones are
considered as carrying out social responsibilities of businessmen and
investors. By mentioning the arrangement of CSR means different allocations of
development in education, health and social affairs. At the same time, the
local could have more chances of getting jobs; they tend to get trained for
acquiring modern techniques for possible promotions, thus paving the way for
sustainable development.
Importance of knowledge of education
How much is spent for educational sector from national finances,
it is important to know the value of education between givers( teachers) and
receivers( students) There should be vivid descriptions on educational
objectives and rights to know the value of education so that budgets on
education should be used worthwhile. It is easy for estimation of education
budgets, but it is never easy to bring about the direct results from education.
Direct effects and as well as indirect ones leading to invaluable effects would
emerge, according to education experts.
Sustainable development of skilled workers would result in
cooperation for faster advantages. It is a requirement for every developing
country for local and international cooperation and non-governmental
organizations. Thus this cooperation should be practiced unconditionally. As
education is of importance to a country, future prospects would depend on
health and prosperity of each and every one.
Thus poverty would result in the end everywhere.
