LINE Walker-2 crew shot final scenes near the Sule Pagoda in
Yangon for the film yesterday.
To film the climax scene of car crash, explosion and overturns,
the authorities moved the bus stops near the City Hall for public safety.
Scenes for the film Line Walker-2 were shot at the Shwedagon
Pagoda, YMCA Hall in Yangon and near the City Hall and on the Sule Pagoda Road
yesterday.
Some scenes to be shot in the Philippines were also filmed at
National Races Village in Thaketa Township.
When shooting in Yangon, authorities took steps to prevent
traffic jams and to maintain overall safety.
Shaw Brothers Pictures International Ltd. Started filming major
scenes for Line Walker-2, a sequel to their very successful Line Walker movie,
in Yangon on 15 February.
Shootings, explosions, cars racing against each other, crashes,
and helicopters flying are included in this film.
The chance to help in filming a movie that will boost the image
of the country was a great opportunity, said an official.
The Yangon Region Transport Authority (YRTA), YBS services,
traffic police, and other departments were working together to redirect traffic
and ensure there are no traffic jams.
