THE
AA insurgent group had launched massive coordinated attacks on four border
police out-posts in Buthidaung Township of Rakhine State on 4 January, 2019. In
this incident, police personnel were injured and lost their lives.
Provisions
of cash to family members of police personnel were made and officials from the
Police Force went to the office of No. 3 Border Guard Police Force, and they
meet with family members of police personnel killed in the attack and to
console their bereavements.

Major Zaw Lin Aung, from No. 5 Border Guard Police Force, went to meet with
family members of Constable Thant Zin Min and provided cash assistance at the
amount of 1 million on 5 January.
Police
Lt-Col Aung Kyaw Zaw, from No. 3 Border Guard Police Force, went to meet with
family members of Constable Tun Hla and provided cash assistance at the amount
of 1 million on January 6.
Police
Major Ye Win from No. 8 Border Guard Police Force, went to meet with family
members of Constable Than Shwe Oo and provided cash assistance at the amount of
1 million on January 6.
Police
Major Aung Myat Oo from No. 1 Border Guard Police Force, went to meet with
family members of Constable Myo Myint and provided cash assistance at the
amount of million on January 7, according to the Myanmar Police Force.
