Union
Attorney-General U Tun Tun Oo received Ms. Christina Beninger, Country Director
of International Development Law Organization (IDLO) at Union Attorney General
office guest hall yesterday.
During
the meeting, they discussed matters related to work being carried out in
accordance with the MOU signed in 2016 by Union Attorney General Office and
IDLO, extension of Rule of Law Center projects, jointly implemented by United
Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and IDLO, cooperative works to promote
policies related to gender equality, preventing violence against women and
children.
Implementation
to go in accordance with ethical standards for judges and fair judicial norms
adopted by Union Attorney General Office, human resources development and other
works to be carried out, were also discussed at the meeting.
The
meeting was also attended by Permanent Secretary Daw Nu Nu Yin.
