Union
Minister for Information Dr. Pe Myint received the Myanmar Press Council (MPC)
yesterday at the office of the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw.
During
the meeting, they cordially discussed matters related to renting of the Myanmar
Press Council office, the process of electing new council members for the next
three years and the development of the Myanmar news media sector.
Present
at the meeting were Deputy Minister U Aung Hla Tun, officials from the Ministry
of Information, MPC Vice Chairman (1) U Ohn Kyaing, U Min Han, Daw Thin Thin
Thar, U Kyaw Swar Min, U Khaing Myat Kyaw and U Zeya.
