Aung Hla Tun, Deputy Minister of Information, received Ambassador H.E. Mr.
Zahairi Baharim, Defence Attache Col. Abdul Razak Haron and First Secretary Mr.
Tajul Ariffin Tajuddin from the Malaysian Embassy in Myanmar at the Information
Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Among
the cordial discussions at the meeting were matters concerning further
promoting over 60 years long close and friendly bilateral relations, shooting a
documentary on the prevalence of religious harmony around the Sule Pagoda and
its environs in Yangon in order to narrate to the international community.
Responsible
ministry officials were also present at the meeting together with the Deputy
Minister.
