Fifth Food & Hospitality Trade Exhibition to be held in June

The largest food and hospitality trade exhibition will be held from 6 to 8 June at the Myanmar Event Park in Mindhama Road in Yangon.

The three-day exhibition is aimed at promoting Myanmar’s food and drink industry, hotels, bakeries, restaurants and food service equipment, supplies and hospitality industry.

Some 230 exhibitors from 27 countries, including South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and the United States, will take part in the three-day event by showcasing various products and services.

The 5th Food & Hospitality Trade Exhibition Myanmar 2018 event will house six showrooms in the 4,800-square-metre exhibition hall to accommodate companies wishing to participate in the event.

Other highlights of the event are that the competition will also hold the 5th Myanmar Culinary Arts Competition and the 5th Myanmar National Barista Championship. A Food Science and Technology Association of Myanmar (FoSTAM) Seminar 2018 will also be held during the event.

The Food & Hotel Myanmar 2018 exhibition is being organised by the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, Myanmar Hotelier Association, Myanmar Restaurant Association, Myanmar Chef’s Association, Myanmar Retailers Association, Myanmar Food Processors and Exporters Association, FoSTAM, Barista Association of Myanmar and the Myanmar Coffee Association.
