China-Myanmar trade fair kicks off in Yangon

China-Myanmar trade fair opened at Myanmar Event Park in Yangon yesterday and Union Minister for Commerce Dr Than Myint delivered the opening speech at the event.

Union Minister Dr Than Myint said the event is aimed at promoting bilateral trade and investment and enhancing Myanmar-China cooperation, introducing high quality madein-china products for Myanmar market. Chinese Ambassador Mr. Hong Liang and Madam Mo Changying, Vice Chairwoman of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Guangxi Committee delivered the speech at the ceremony.

Afterwards, Union Minister for Commerce Dr Than Myint, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein, Vice Chairperon of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Guangxi Committee Madam Mo Changying, Chinese Ambassador Mr. Hong Liang, Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) Chairman U Zaw Min Win and officials unveiled the China-Myanmar (Yangon) Trade Fair 2018 by pressing the button.

Union Minister Dr Than Myint and the Yangon Region Chief Minister accompanied by the officials then went around the exhibition booths of the China-Myanmar Trade Fair 2018.

About 200 booths from 103 companies have displayed madein-china consumer goods, hardware lighting products, household utensils. This event also showcases food, Myanmar products and demonstrating banking services.
