Tatmadaw Commander-in-Chief honors Aung La N Sang

Mixed Martial Art (MMA) ONE Middleweight World Champion Aung La N Sang knocked out Brazil’s Alexandre Machado in the first round of the ONE Light Heavyweight World Championship bout at Thuwunna Indoor Stadium yesterday evening.

For becoming both the ONE Middleweight World Champion and ONE Light Heavyweight World Champion, and honoring the nation, Tatmadaw Commander-in-Chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Tatmadaw (army, navy, air force) officers, personnel and family members honored Aung La N Sang. On behalf of the Tatmadaw Commander-in-Chief, Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Thet Pone presented Aung La N Sang with a Ks 10 million cash prize, as well as a certificate of honor sent by the Tatmadaw Commander-in-Chief, at an event held yesterday evening at the Rose Garden Hotel inYangon.
After accepting the awards, Aung La N Sang thanked the Tatmadaw Commander-in-Chief and Tatmadaw (army, navy, air force) families. He said the cash award will be used for the education of children in the My Me Project and charity programmes in Kachin State, adding that he will continue to do his best in future competitions.
