Vice President U Myint Swe received Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Committee for Implementation of the Recommendations on Rakhine State, and its members at the Hall for Envoys of the Presidential Palace, Nay Pyi Taw, on January 23 at 3 p.m.

They exchanged views on the implementation of the recommendations on Rakhine State, stability and the peace process in the region; issuance of the immigration and national verification cards; relocation and development of socio-economic status; cooperation between international organizations and United Nations agencies; humanitarian assistance; resettlement; and the work processes of the Union Enterprise for Humanitarian Assistance, Resettlement and Development in Rakhine at the meeting.—Myanmar News Agency
